Danny Moody Band is an Americana group out of Tampa mixing roots, country and southern rock n' roll with a vintage vibe and a true Florida tone. Just off the release of their debut self titled EP recorded at the Red Room in Ybor City the band is ready to get busy in the local circuit.
With a rich history of playing in the greater Tampa Bay area Danny Moody Band brings a gathering of experienced players to the stage and a real community feel. Danny Moody Band is looking forward to sharing its original penned tunes and southern grown grooves to the quality venues and local meeting houses in and around our great home.
With influences such as the Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Danny Moody Band hopes to revive the sweet harmonies, singing guitars and foot stomping grooves that have been laid down in the past back to the present day with a sure southern twang and rootsy backbone.
